IGHR has a FREE FamilySearch Expo!

This year, I am attending IGHR virtually. IGHR is the Institute of Genealogy and Historical Research, a week long genealogy institute with advanced genealogy training. It is always good to expand your research skills.

On Saturday, 24 July they are offering a FREE FamilySearch Family History and Genealogy Expo virtually!

FamilySearch personnel will present virtual sessions about the extensive, free resources available online at FamilySearch.org and answer your questions!

FamilySearch is one of the premiere genealogy websites for research, and it is free! If you want to learn more about how to use FamilySearch, this would be a fantastic opportunity for you!

“Advanced” Beginning Genealogy Class

I will be teaching an online “Advanced” Beginning Genealogy class on 9 June 2021 from 9 AM – 12 NOON with the Southern California Genealogy Society as part of their Special Events Week leading up to Genealogy Jamboree 2021.

More information will be available as they finalize the schedule. Visit their website, and revisit as they update from time to time. 9 June 9:00 AM has already been scheduled as the live online class for “Advanced” Beginning Genealogy.

If you have not yet taken the Beginning Genealogy class, that’s OK, there is no prerequisite for this class. You will learn more about genealogy research no matter what!

See you in June!
